77 thousand people from the diaspora registered so far, the process continues until April 21

A total of 77,122 people have been registered through the diaspora self-registration application, including today.

The self-registration process started on March 1 and will last until April 21, while the application registers Macedonian citizens residing abroad, due to work or other personal reasons, up to 12 or longer than 12 months, while registration will take place by April 21, 2021.

From March 1 to March 15, employees of the diplomatic-consular missions and their family members staying with them abroad, Macedonian citizens working in the United Nations and its organizations, representative offices or representatives of Chambers of Commerce abroad are also registered. business units abroad, military representatives of the Army of the Republic of Northern Macedonia abroad and citizens engaged on the basis of international, technical and other cooperation, as well as members of their families / households living abroad with the above persons as well as all persons – citizens of the Republic of Northern Macedonia residing abroad for any reason, regardless of the length of their stay.

The population census in the country will be conducted from 1 to 21 April 2021. The State Statistical Office published a third additional public competition for the engagement of people who will participate in the implementation of the Population, Household and Housing Census in the Republic of Macedonia.
