Exhibition and Book of Prof.Dr. Ismail Ahmed in the spotlight at the Sharika Sharjah – UAE International Cultural Heritage Festival

In the framework of the cooperation between the Embassy of RNM in the United Arab Emirates-Abu Dhabi and the Institute of Cultural Heritage, the solemn opening of the exhibition of Arabic manuscripts in North Macedonia took place. Exclusive and first exhibition of its kind specially prepared by the well-known Professor with international academic reputation from Kichevo, Professor Dr. Ismail Ahmedi.

His exhibition took center stage in the space of the 18th Sharika – Sharjah Cultural Heritage Festival (March 20, April 18, 2021) under the motto “Cultural heritage unites us”.

As part of the festival on April 7, 2021, the book of Professor Dr. Ismail Ahmedi was promoted as a result of his scientific work: “Arab and Islamic culture and heritage in North Macedonia and Kosovo between the XV-XVIII century”.

Within the same scientific academy, the promotion of the joint book of Prof. Mesud Idriz and Muhamedali Ali, a collection of several articles and researches published under one cover and focusing on the Arab cultural heritage in Southeast Europe as well as the catalog of religious leaders in the Balkans after the 19th century.

Due to objective reasons Prof. Ismail Ahmedi did not have the opportunity to attend this central event. Therefore Dr. Muhamedali Ali, also presented the book of Prof. Dr. Ismail Ahmed, a presentation which aroused special interest from the attendees and beyond from the media present at this scientific event.
