The Republic of Northern Macedonia receives the first doses of the Pfizer vaccine in February, informs the Ministry of Health
The Republic of Northern Macedonia receives the first doses of the Pfizer vaccine in February. A direct deal was reached with the company this afternoon, and the amount will be known in the coming weeks.
“The next doses of the Pfizer vaccine will arrive in March and April,” the Ministry of Health said.
From there they say that the Ministry of Health continues the negotiations for the provision of vaccines through negotiations with EU member states as well as through the Covax mechanism, from where the schedule and date for the distribution of the first quantities are expected. This is great news for all citizens and the first step towards a final victory over the pandemic.
The Ministry informs that the refrigerators for storing these vaccines are expected in January and thus the Macedonian health system will be fully prepared for vaccination.
