The list of countries and territories that are at high risk for the state of Switzerland has been updated. This list will enter into force at 00.00 on December 14, 2020.
Kosovo and Albania are two Balkan countries that are not on the list of dangers for Switzerland. which means that all residents of Switzerland can move freely in Kosovo and Albania, after which they do not need to be quarantined when returning to the Swiss state.
Meanwhile, the Balkan countries that are on the list of danger according to the BAG report: are Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia.
Other countries with potential risk for Switzerland are Andorra, Georgia, Jordan, Croatia, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, San Marino, the United States, and some areas of Austria, Italy and France.
The Swiss state requires quarantine for travelers from certain high-risk countries and areas. The list of these states and territories will be updated on December 14th. A negative test for Covid-19 does not preclude a quarantine decision.
