President Stevo Pendarovski today in a telephone conversation with his Austrian counterpart Alexander Van der Belen strongly condemned last night’s terrorist attack in the center of Vienna and expressed regret for the lives lost in this violent act, according to the President’s Office.
Pendarovski sent deep condolences to the citizens of Austria, as well as to the families of the victims and the injured.
The President of the country expressed readiness for comprehensive cooperation in the direction of prevention and interception of radicalism and terrorism, motivated by religious fundamentalism.
- The two presidents assessed that last night’s terrorist act in Vienna was an attack on the common values we believe in and on our way of life, informed Pendarovski’s cabinet.
