Data from the Institute for Public Health, until April 11 show that the largest number of infected in Macedonia are over 60 years old, informs Zhurnal.
So far, all ages ranging from 0 to 101 years old have been infected, while the average age is 45.8 years old.
The largest number of infected is over 60 years old, 35,281 people. With a specific morbidity of 9,204.8 / 100,000, while the highest specific morbidity of 9,226.6 / 100,000 was recorded in the age group of 50-59 years (25,655 infected).
The lowest specific morbidity from 1,196 and 2,515 per 100,000 inhabitants was recorded in children aged 0-9 years and 10-19 years, where 2738 and 6293 cases were reported.
