Swedish Foreign Minister says Kosovo and Serbia should make the dialogue a priority

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Ann Linde, says normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia is the way forward adding that both countries should make the dialogue a priority.

“Good discussions with EU special representative Miroslav Lajcak on the EU-facilitated Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. Normalisation between Kosovo and Serbia is the way forward. Both countries should make the dialogue a priority,” Ann Linde wrote on Twitter.

Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has reiterated that the dialogue is not among priorities of his Government.
Also, Lajcak has tweeted after meeting Swedish Foreign Minister and OSCE Chair Ann Linde. “We spoke about the need to strengthen EU’s credibility in the region, the Dialogue and the important role the OSCE plays on the ground,” Lajcak said.
