“Vaccination with this vaccine will be one of the biggest logistical operations that our health system has to implement, and we will certainly need help from other sectors as well – to receive vaccines, to keep them properly, to carry them,” to be taken to the place where the persons who were previously selected as an endangered category who should accept the vaccine have applied, and we are seriously working in this field “, said Filipçe
He announced that the economic operators who will keep and transport the vaccines have already been engaged and that they have expressed their readiness to support this system.
“All vaccine points and an American foundation have been communicated. We received help with refrigerators with temperatures down to -70 for the ‘Pfizer’ vaccine which is the only one at this temperature, but we must provide conditions for that vaccine as well “, said Filipçe, noting that in the part of receiving, keeping and transporting the vaccine in the countries where the vaccines are to be given the plan is ready and that next week an exercise will be organized on what this will look like on the ground.
Filipce added that the vaccination will be done by doctors and nurses who are currently working with patients with coroanvirus, and training will be organized for this.
