The state by law limits prices for Covid in private hospitals

The government will most likely pass a law that will limit the price of private hospitals for treating patients affected by Kovid-19, reports Zhurnal.

The Crisis Coordination Headquarters is expected to submit to the government tomorrow the proposal for changes in the law on Health Care, which will limit the cost in private hospitals for the treatment of patients with Covid.

The Minister of Health, Venko Filipce, says that this decision was taken after the appeals of the citizens regarding the high cost in private hospitals, which range from several thousand euros.

Last week, only the private hospital “Jean Mitrev” announced that it had decided to reduce prices for the treatment of patients with Covid.
