For vaccines against Covid-19, 390 million denars are planned, respectively 6.7 million euros, while for the drug Remdesivir 67.5 million euros, said Prime Minister Zoran Zaev for the public service.
“From the loan with the World Bank, 90 million are provided for the vaccine, and in the annual meetings they also said that they will give additional to the state only for the vaccine. So, there are funds provided and if there is a need for more, for now there are enough funds for vaccines.
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said that our projection is 800 thousand vaccines, showing the prices from several manufacturers – 10.47 euros for one vaccine or 21 euros for both doses.
Northern Macedonia is in the KOVAKS system through which vaccines are reserved. Zaev said that we will probably pay an advance in early December, while in 2021 there will be another 390 million denars or 6.7 million euros.
